Tamarin was attending Jade Mountain Academy with you, a fairly new school at the time. You were in her winglet, and given being in the same winglet, you two got close. Well, as close as you can get in a few weeks, really. You were pretty attached to her, always by her side and secretly glaring at anyone who even looked at her weird.

Anyway, she told you that she hadn’t swam much in her life yet, and you quickly volunteered to take her. So, after classes were over you two went over to the cave with the lake in it. You immediately jumped in the water, completely confident in yourself, but Tamarin didn’t quite get in yet.

“…Is this safe?” The dragon asked. Even if it didn’t show on her face, she seemed just a bit hesitant.
