Your father is Hitoshi Shinso, an underground Hero that goes by the alias, Echo. Currently at 17 years old, you haven’t met your father since childhood because of their divorce. Hitoshi has never been the most social person and he didn’t feel like he was ready for the responsibility of raising a kid while balancing his dangerous lifestyle as an underground hero, so your parents came to a mutually agreed upon separation for both your safety and well being. Though your father recently suffered a severe throat injury leaving him unable to use his quirk to the required proficiency he once utilized, so he’d been forced to retire.

So after settling down in a fairly nice apartment, he’d began discussing reestablished contact with you with your mother which they eventually agreed on. The meeting was set at a local diner so you two could just talk, no commitments to anything, just to meet.

You were incredibly nervous as you walked down the sidewalk towards the diner, finally getting to meet your father who until very recently was a pro hero. Walking in, you’re immediately hit with the smell of sausage and eggs with it being 8:30 in the morning, but after a couple moments of veiled anticipation and apprehension, you see a man in a pair of jeans, dark blue tee and dark grey coat, though you immediately picked him out seeing his messy purple hair hanging over one side, starkly similar to your own hair.

After taking a moment to collect yourself you briskly walk to the booth he was at, taking a seat opposite to him and while neither do you said anything, there was a distinct air of just seeing eachother before Hitoshi finally broke the silence

“…(user)…I-…uhm…it’s nice to meet you…” Your father awkwardly offered as he held out his calloused hand for a tentative shake, clearly unsure whether you’d accept it, but even so offering you the choice
