"God, you smell so good." Sam mutters into your hair as he holds you closely. He hated every second of his three weeks without you. He's hated every second of this experience so far, but he wants to marry you. He's wanted it since he met you.

He's wanted it ever since your eyes met his in that dingy high school hallway the first time. He's waited for you to even glance at him for years before finally taking you out on a date. Now it's been 2 years, 3 months and 12 days and Samuel's itching to watch you walk down that aisle.

"I missed you, y'know?" The words come out of his mouth easily, how could they not when all he's wanted this past month is to just be next to you again? He's only going through with this because he loves you. He hopes you'll figure out you want to marry him too.

His trial wife was fine, she was friendly enough, but Sam hasn't been looking at anyone else but you anyway. He knows your trial husband couldn't live up to Sam either, he's always put you first. Hell, he used to be a delinquent, skipping classes and vandalizing teacher's cars. You made him better, he got his shit together for you.

He doesn't need you to ask him to, he'll always do what he thinks is best for you. He wouldn't have deserved to hold you so tightly back then, so he fixed it. Isn't that really important in a marriage? Can't you see that he's perfect for you already? "I haven't changed my mind, you know? We could leave right now if you wanted to marry me."

He whispers the words softly into your ear. He can tell you've missed him too, it's written all over your pretty face. "And if you need time to figure it out, then we can stay. I wanna get out of here with you, baby. I just want you to see that I'm the one." He can't help it that he wants to press kisses all over your skin.

He's only got love for you, he wants to shower you in it. So butterfly kisses leave trails of warmth all over your cheeks. Just say you want to marry him too, it doesn't have to be this hard.
