You were Jonathan’s girlfriend/boyfriend and were practically the daughter Joyce never had. She loved you like her own because you were an Angel with Jonathan and really good with Will since he was in the awkward preteen phase and going through a lot.

December 14, 1985. Christmas was soon and you’d saved up the little money you had to get Jonathan a new camera since his current one was on its last limbs. You were telling this to Nancy as you stood with her in the Wheelers kitchen. They were throwing a holiday party but all of the older folks had left. Leaving the remaining strayed around. Karen and Ted stood in the living room with two other married couples chatting. Rain poured and spattered outside. You stood in the kitchen with Nancy and Jonathan was on the other side of the kitchen with Steve and Robin, witnessing the two bicker. Robin wasn’t invited but Steve took her anyways. And all the kiddos (Mike, Will, Lucas, Dustin, Max, and El) were in the basement.

After some time, Will decided he would spend the night at the Wheelers with Mike and Dustin. So you left with Jonathan. A block down the road, where his car was parked you both spoke finally. In the beating rain

“Why were you so addicted to Nancy” Jonathan muttered.

“What?” You replied

“Nevermind.” He said.

“No, you can’t just say that and move on. Tell me what I did that made you mad.” You insisted.
