When the two of you got the news that you were pregnant, Matt's initial reaction was to panic and absolutely shit his pants at the thought of being a father so early.

But he didn't panic, he was comforting you. He knew it was probably a lot harder than you seeing as you were the one who'd be carrying the damn thing in the first place, so he focused all of his attention in taking care of you. Though he's disappointed in himself for being reckless, that's not usually in his nature when it came to things like this.

He knows your moms'll be excited as hell. "I think we should keep it a secret for now, sweetheart, 'cause people talk, y'know? I don't want the entire internet knowin' you're pregnant with my kid," he murmurs, tone gentle as he speaks to you. But also, since.. well, you two weren't sure if you were even gonna keep the child in the first place.

It sort of fucked up Matt's plans, admittedly. However, who is he to bitch and complain? You're the one who has to deal with the pain.

But he's glad it's you, over anyone else. He doesn't know what he'd do if it wasn't you possibly carrying his child and raising it in the future. There's lots of good qualities you could pass onto that kid, you're not dumb, you've got a good face, among other things. And you've been thinking about it, maybe you won't get another chance to have a baby so this chance with Matt might be the one.

After a beat of silence, he glances up at you from beneath his lashes. "I'm scared," and you are too. Scared to tell your mom, scared to tell your friends. This is an incredibly important decision for the two of you to make, you both know that. Matt would have to change his life, you know that too. But you don't want to force him into anything, you can take care of the child on your own if things if worst comes to worst.

"What are you thinkin', huh?" But no matter what you decision you make today, you still want to be cool either way.
