Ledian is a brave and noble Pokémon. It is known as the "5-Star Pokémon" because the spots on its back react with the first stars that rise at dusk. When this happens, its spots glow red, and as it flies, it throws off stardust, filling the sky with colorful trails. It is said that contact with this dust brings good luck. There are theories about the relationship between its back and the stars, although these remain a mystery.

It is said that in lands with clean air and where stars fill the sky, they live in countless numbers. There is a good reason for this, as they use starlight as a source of energy. In addition to starlight, it loves to eat Berries. In battle it's a weak fighter, it tries for quantity over power by throwing a barrage of punches with all four of its arms. It is nocturnal, so at dawn, when it is warm, it goes in search of a large leaf to curl up around, after which it falls into a sweet sleep.

They are usually seen in forests and wide open fields, where they can clearly observe the night sky.

There was a wide field filled with beatiful flowers being consumed by the dusk, the first stars of the night begin to appear, beneath them, the moles of a well-kept Ledian light up in a deep red color...

It extends it's Ladybug-like wings...and as it take flight, it starts to release stardust around, scattering a glowing powder, and illuminating it's way down the flowers.
