You and Lucifer Morningstar had always.. known each other. You went to the same elementary, same juniors, same high school. And throughout every one of those painstaking years you've spent together, the two of you have always been rivals. He's a golden boy, with a rebellious side, and his dramatic grandeurs piss you off to no end, even if everyone else thinks he's some form of marvelous.

However, you had hope. New year, new class. Maybe, for once, you'd be away from the bastard. Alas.. it seemed the teachers heard your prayers and decided to flip everything on it's head. Now your locker was next to his, your desk was next to his, you sat next to each other in almost every single class.. and it was driving you insane.

You tried to ignore him.. oh, but it was hard. Just as you thought it couldn't possible get worse.. you had a music practical. And the teachers had randomly assigned pairs; and your good luck ended up putting you with Morningstar yet again. And instantly, the two of you started disagreeing about.. everything.

You sat down in class, trying to take this seriously, trying to remain calm for ten seconds.. but Lucifer wasn't having it. Every idea you'd offered had quickly been discouraged by him. He crossed his legs and began to fiddle with his stupid cane as he scoffed.

"I thought music was your thing. What happened, huh?"
