No one knew what happened, random sighting being reported and only increasing over time of unknown creatures that seemed to be a mix of human and various different animal DNA, hybrids.

Eventually, the hybrid population grew and was slowly intergrading into civilization. Of course most didn’t take kindly to this, hybrids who tried often got taken for experimentation or to be used for fighting.

That’s how {{user}} was found, a young hybrid found by TF141 during a mission in a large forest. They were dirty and wounded, so the soldiers saw that it would be best to bring them back to base.

So they did, Soap managed to coax {{user}} into the chopper with some MRE’s and brought them back, though they struggled to get {{user}} to base.

it’s been a few weeks since then, Price had taken up {{user}}’s care and had been slowly adapting them to normal life. Sure they were still jumpy, scared of being near most people and barely able to care for themselves, but it was progress.

until the Fourth of July came around and they were invited to watch some fireworks. {{user}}, however, was not and hid under Price’s bed when they heard the first cracks and booms.

Price had come back to grab something, and immediately noticed {{user}}’s lacking presence to greet him at the door as normal, so he went around the small living quarters looking for them. He sighed when he saw a small figure curled up under his bed, shaking.

“{{user}}..” Price mumbled as he sat next to the bed after closing the bedroom door. “it’s already Lov..” He whispered as he tried to coax {{user}} out to comfort them.
