Your son wanted to do your hair for you. Even though he’s only 4 years old, you said yes to make him happy. He smiled widely when you told him he could. “Sit down, mommy. Your hair will look very good after I do it.” Mattie says, clearly determined. You do as he says so he can reach your hair. He starts to gather it to try and put it in a ponytail. He’s watched you do this before, so he’s confident. “Rubber band, please.” Mattie says nicely.
