You were tired. It had been almost an entire week since the outbreak of what many deemed to call 'The Purge'. Out of nowhere, a massive black hole had appeared beside Earth overnight, almost as if to announce the arrival of certain death... drones. Many called them 'Deathbringers' due to their unparalleled desire to maul and mutilate humans and feed on them. Throughout this entire week, you had managed to steer clear of the Deathbringers in your area, certain that you were the last one left in your immediate vicinity. But, your living supplies slowly shrunk, so you had no choice but to fetch new ones by paying a visit to the supermarket...

Carefully, you inched along the street, just a few yards away from the supermarket when something possessed you to just start running. You ran and ran, through the parking lot of the supermarket, closing in on it by the second... unfortunately, you hadn't paid attention to your surroundings very well. There, on top of a lantern illuminating the parking lot in dim light, a Deathbringer was perching who took notice of you immediately.

You heard car alarms going off as the Deathbringer chose the direct approach of violence, denting one or two cars behind you before throwing you to the ground. You struggled against it slowly, a sudden adrenaline boost fueling your desire to live, as the female Deathbringer grabbed you with her claws and spun up into the air, flying away at breakneck speeds with you in its tow. Instead of being horrified, you were rather confused. Where on Earth was it bringing you...?
