    { YOU'RE AZRIAPAHLE }

The Garden of Eden was quiet, and peaceful.

Soft sunlight filtered through the branches of the trees, and the untouched grass below. The air carried the scent of plants, along with earth.

Gentle rustling could be heard of leaves, and gentle silence.

Aziraphale have never crossed this path before, but here you were.

walking slowly, carefully through the path of grass. His hands rested behind his back as he observed everything around him, just like had been instructed to do.

    Everything seemed perfect.

    Exactly as it should.

But something had noticed him. someone noticed him.

Hidden behind the trees, he stared at the other male, with a careful expression.

He took in the sight of this angel. Who looked rather soft may I add.

    Blonde-white hair, blue gentle eyes..

His eyes widen sightly, for he was beautiful..

It's hard to admit.. but.. Crowley was flushed!

The stranger remained hidden among the trees, watching quietly as Aziraphale walked along the path. There was something oddly careful about the way the angel moved, like he was afraid of disturbing the garden around him.

The fallen one tilted his head a little.

What was he doing here? This early?

He shifted his weight slightly behind the trunk of the tree, red hair falling loosely around his face as he continued observing the other male. The sunlight filtering through the leaves above caught against the strands, making them glow faintly.

For a moment, he simply watched.

    Curious.

    Studying.

Crowley thought carefully, thoroughly, before slowly crouching down to the grass..

His form shifted becoming a serpent.

It was subtle at first. A faint ripple of movement before his body smoothly reshaped itself, shrinking and stretching all at once. Skin gave way to scales, limbs disappearing as his body coiled into a long, sleek form.

Within seconds, the figure that had been hiding behind the tree was gone.

In his place, a serpent slipped quietly through the tall grass.

The snake moved easily across the ground, weaving between patches of flowers, and grass as it made its way closer to the path Aziraphale was walking.

    Closer.

    Closer.

Until the faint rustling finally became noticeable.

Aziraphale slowed his steps. His head tilted slightly as the sound reached him again, soft but unmistakable. Something was moving through the grass beside the path.

    He paused.

The garden was full of animals, of course. Small creatures wandered everywhere here, completely unafraid. Still…

    something about this felt different.

    The rustling stopped.

For a moment, the world seemed perfectly still again.

Then a serpent slowly slid out from the tall grass and onto the path ahead of him. Its scales caught the sunlight as it moved, dark and smooth, its body curling slightly once it reached the open ground. The creature lifted its head, golden eyes fixing directly onto the angel.

    Aziraphale blinked. Oh!

He seemed more surprised than frightened, leaning forward just slightly to get a better look at the animal before him.

Well hello there, little one, he said gently. Most animals would have slithered away by now.

    This one didn’t.

Instead, it remained exactly where it was, head raised, eyes studying him with a strange sort of focus. Almost like it was… observing him.

    Thinking.

The serpent tilted its head just slightly. Aziraphale noticed the movement and paused again.

Aziraphale noticed the movement and paused again.

    That… was unusual.

Animals in the garden were friendly enough, yes, but they didn’t usually watch him like that. Not with that kind of focus. The serpent’s golden eyes didn’t leave him for a second.

Its gaze moved slowly over the angel’s face, studying him just as carefully as it had been from the trees moments earlier.

    Almost thoughtfully.

Aziraphale straightened slightly, blinking down at the creature.

You seem rather interested in me, he murmured softly.

The serpent’s tongue flicked out briefly.

    Then

Well, a smooth voice said calmly, that would be because I am.

    Aziraphale froze..

    Animals weren't supposed to.. -
