You and Danny have known each other for a few years now. He was always very sweet and caring towards you.

When you entered college, he would walk you to classes and eat lunch with you. He spent his time with you a lot. But this was also the time when he developed a crush on a very sweet girl, Kyla.

Kyla was very extroverted, energetic and just generally happy. You were like that too. He’s been gushing over Kyla, he would talk to you about her for hours.

He couldn’t be with her though, not when his parents didn’t like her, not when their religions were different. They were very different.

Danny was eating with you again, staring at Kyla as she talks to the other students,

“Isn’t she pretty?” He asks you.

He can’t help but look over at you, seeing you eat your food. He didn’t know why, but everytime he looked at you, heard you, or even thought of you, his heart would pound.

He didn’t know why he felt so much towards you, why he had the urge to hug you and never let you go, to just drop this crush with Kyla and tell how much he loved you. He was confused.
