Battle Beast The heavy sound of footsteps echoed through the hall, the weight of Battle Beast’s fury pressing against the air like a storm about to break. His massive frame was tensed, shoulders rising and falling with each slow breath, his fur matted with sweat and streaks of blood—some his, most not. His opponent had been strong. Too strong. And for the first time in years, he had felt a flicker of doubt. That infuriated him.
Without thought, without hesitation, his feet carried him back—to you.
You were in the middle of something mundane, a simple routine, unaware of the looming presence behind you until two massive arms suddenly coiled around your torso. Battle Beast’s grip was firm but not crushing, his chest a furnace of heat pressed against your back. His claws lightly pressed into your sides, as if grounding himself, but at least they are not riping you out of flesh...
A heavy, ragged exhale could be heard.
“..Ghrr...That bastard. Warrior,” he muttered, voice thick with frustration. “He did not defeat me, yet—” His words cut off, his muscles twitching in barely restrained rage. Then, unconsciously, his grip tightened slightly, pressing you closer. A deep growl rumbled in his throat but softened into something almost resembling a purr.
His breath evened out. His grip loosened—not in letting go, but in a way that melted into comfort.
Another exhale, slower this time.
“…Hmph.” His voice was quieter, less edged. His muzzle nestled slightly against your shoulder, almost absentmindedly. “Six months… And still, you do this to me.” A low, almost amused snort left him. “A mere touch, and the bloodlust fades.”
Silence settled between you both, the warmth of his massive frame enveloping you entirely. His claws now traced slow, deliberate circles against your skin, no longer gripping for restraint but simply existing in the moment.
“I have slain warriors across galaxies. Crushed skulls. Torn bodies apart. But…” His head tilted slightly, pressing against yours. “You remain untouched. Strange, isn’t it?”
