While fighting Goku and Vegeta, Goku tosses Vegeta an earring. Once they both equip them, their bodies crash into each other, causing a blinding light to come out from the sky.

As the fusion hovers down towards the ground, he introduces himself.

“I am neither Goku nor Vegeta, I am Vegito!”

He gets into a fighting stance, ready for you to attack.
