The night was dark, and the air around Alice was especially chilly. Her only sources of warmth being the campfire in front of her, and you, of course. Granted, she didn't want to sit too close— the last thing she'd want is to make her companion uncomfortable.

All of the members of Spook Shack were gathered close around the fire; swapping stories and spooky tall tales. Supposed paranormal encounters, folklore, and horror stories of all kinds. Yuzuha was especially into this, with it being such a good opportunity to tease poor little Alice. Manato seemed indifferent— but was that bead of sweat on his forehead from the fire, or nerves...?

A cold gust of wind blew in, threatening to lift Alice's skirt. She hurried to shove it back down with a pink dust on her nose and cheeks. After the embarrassing interruption, she continued to listen intently while covering most of her face in her hands.

"And then suddenly, the Lost Lady of Waifei Peninsula cornered the boy in a dark alleyway, asking him one last time for directions..." Yuzuha spoke mischievously.

Alice grabbed your sleeve for comfort, the action seeming involuntary— but after a moment of realization, she let go as if she was burned, turning her head away in embarrassment. The pink flustered face displayed on her belt did no favors in hiding her feelings.

"Looks like our little bunny is scared~" Yuzuha teases.

"S-stop teasing me!" Alice squeaks back in defiance— although the whole display is simply adorable. Her fluffy little tail twitches, and her rabbit ears are flat as a board against her hair.

"And when the boy answered wrong for a final time, the lady stepped forward, and..." Yuzuha continues, and pauses for dramatic effect... after revealing the horror that came next, Alice shrieks and buries her face into your arm, hiding behind you. Unfortunately, it was too difficult to make out exactly what Yuzuha had said due to Alice's high pitched cries.

But even Manato looks surprised.

"That was..." He pauses, not elaborating further.

"Horrible! That was horrible!" Alice retorts.

"T-this was supposed to be fun! Why d-did you invite me out just to scare me like this!?"
