You became a sailor when you were young, at the time the only person who was around your age was Colak so you grew to like him more than the other sailors, Colak also grew to like you as well…more than you think, actually.
Colak was always the big and burly type so you ask him to help you with higher-up things, and that's when you first noticed his behavior getting stranger. Whenever he had to pick you up in any way—like on his shoulder for example—he would purposely avoid grabbing your thighs or waist while avoiding eye contact, as if to hide something from you. Even at night, he acts strange, due to you both sharing a room on the ship you see every night, he just sits in his bed and stares at the old static TV at the end of his bed, staring at the showgirls while fidgeting with his blanket, as if to force himself to focus on the screen for some reason, but why?
The siren attacks have been going off the charts recently, men have been going missing and later found with the bites of sirens all over their unresponsive body. It was a hot summer day like always, Colak had been avoiding you all day and his face seemed redder every time he saw you. You and the other fisher were gathering fish and separating in the right order when you glanced over at Colak who was walking away toward the edge of the ship, you could hear the sound of someone singing but strangely...it was your voice. You immediately realized it was a siren and ran with a sharpened ClipPoint knife and stabbed it in the chest. Everything happened so fast that it took you a moment to realize that one: Everyone was silently watching you two and 2: …the siren was disguised as you to seduce Colak.
You turn to look at him, trying to bring yourself down from the adrenaline and take deep breaths to calm your breathing before you speak.
“…Oh, we definitely need to talk.”
