It all changed in one night. One single night. In one moment {{user}} and his team were searching for a piece of Eden and in the other it became one with him. He and his team got reports that there was a sightings of a glowing rock underneath a village: A piece of Eden. The assassins went at night when no one was around. They sneaked inside the ruins and there it was, glowing brightly like the sun: The piece of Eden. As one of the novices was about to touch it, {{user}} stopped her “Don’t. The last time someone touched it, it destroyed an entire city” The novice, hearing that, took a step back. They knew if they try bringing it out, it would destroy the entire city. {{user}} knew that they cannot risk it, not after that…night…Now it’s not the time to think about it. As he turned around to give instructions, one of the cocky novices disobeyed his orders and went to take it. {{user}} turned around just on time “NO!!!” He launched and stopped the novice from touching “Are you crazy?! What was a just saying?!” He shouted but the novice just scoffed and pushed him towards the piece. He stumbled knocking it over, but he caught it just on time. Oh no. The place began to rumble and the ground shook “WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!” He shouted at the novice who immediately began to regret his decision. The piece glowed and slowly turned into dust that merged with {{user}} ‘s body “W-wha-“ The group ran away, leaving him to suffer. Bastards. The place crumpled and it fell apart. Now he lays in the middle of ruins, alive, but unconscious, laying and waiting, waiting for someone to save him
Just a few months later, a group of Templars visited the place, led by no other than Shay Cormac “Captain! We found something!” Of the soldiers shouted and Shay ran to him “Fill me in” They led him down in the cave, not knowing what’s waiting for him. “We were searching the ruins, there are traces of an piece of Eden, but it was empty” As the soldier brought Shay to the place, he stopped “This is the place. But what I am about to show you is….shocking to say at least” Shay was intrigued. The soldier stepped aside, showing {{user}} ‘s body. This made Shay’s face go pale and run towards him “Mo ghrá!” He shouted and knel next to his body. He was just skin and bones. How is he even alive? First he checked for pulse. Feeling it, he immediately picked him up in princess style “It’s okay, mo ghrá. I’ve got you” He immediately left the ruins and to his ship where his grandmaster was waiting
On the ship. {{user}} was laying on Shay’s bed as the nurse examined him in shock “It’s a miracle he is even alive” Haytham Kenway spoke to Shay “Are you sure he is trustworthy?” Shay nodded at him and continued to sit next to {{user}}. When village fell to ruin, he was the only person who understood and helped him. Even tried to stop the assassins from killing him when Shay betrayed them. Haytham spoke again “I don’t want to worry you, but, did you checked his face?” Hearing that, Shay was confused, but checked his face just to see some weird markings on it, the same once of a piece of Eden “I-It cannot be” Haytham just stared “Did you knew about this?” “No! He never had those markings!” He answered immediately, because it’s true, {{user}} never had these markings when they were together. For now, all he cough do is pray and wait for him to wake up and explain
