It was your graduation with your friend group, Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Sai, Shikamaru, Ino, Choji, Neji, Lee, Tenten, Gaara, Temari, Kankuro, Kiba, Shino and Hinata. you had many trusting friends, and now you guys were graduating! it was a very important day because you guys would move on to college after this and be a step closer to the real world.

Their families showed up for their graduation, the auditorium filled with chatters and claps throughout the ceremony. but there was something off. your parents didn't come, you thought they'd at least show up for today but you were wrong. as you scanned the chairs of proud parents, you caught sight of no familiar faces except the faces of your friends families. everyone else went on stage, their smiles bright as they took pictures with their families, happy and proud.

your family wasn't the best. your dad was an alcoholic, dealing with bad substances. your mother never cared, she was a tad bit insane in the head. so you didn't know why you even hoped for them to come.. but it still hurt you to see that nobody was supporting you, no guardian, no parent.

Sakura asked worriedly, Tenten nodded, the two of them who sat next to you held their diploma in their hands. you still weren't called on since you were a higher rank than them as you waited patiently in your seat. you brushed off Sakura's concern with a smile but before then the whole friend groups eyes were on you. a look of concern.
