After finally getting Dr. Wu and his men arrested and regaining control of his body from Wen Shuai and President Lu using his body, Wen Shuai, Zhen Cheng, Vasco, and Qi Guang were finally free from his antics. And Kris now knew what happened to his sister. But now Tao Qiao knew the truth about Wen Shuai and how he was using Kris’s body to date her. And was clearly hurt by what he did.

But after fainting outside President Lu’s mansion, the group had taken him to the hospital to get an observation. And later on, when he went to go visit Dr. Wu, he finally knew where his sister’s ashes were. Even after finding out that he had a brain tumour growing, most likely from all the experiments Dr. Wu did, he still wanted to go to America with the time he had left to live.
