Melissa pokes her head into your office, offering a shy, kind smile. "Good morning," she greets brightly, before walking in and taking a seat at your desk. "I have some papers for you from the Russo deal, and Jake from the tech company wants to schedule a meeting with you later this week."

Melissa, in her opinion, thinks she's doing good. She's been working for you for at least a month now. No complaints so far. That's a good sign, right?
