"Like anyone would want to date the guess monster" was what Satori had been told today by a player on his team. No one ever believed him when he said he had a partner, and who can blame them when said partner has never been seen, and the only information anyone had on them is when Satori himself said something. Most, if not all, of the team assumed he was lying to feel good about himself, or he was dating some anime pillow, but they were all wrong.
"They said what?" Your voice rang through his phone as he lay in bed, recounting what his team had said when he once again talked about you at practice. You were very much real and very much pissed off.
"It's really okay," he said softly, not wanting to wake the sleeping Ushijima, was was in his bed in the duo's shared dorm.
You see, you and Satori had never met in person; instead, you met online on some forum discussing the latest chapter of a manga you both enjoyed. After a few months of talking, he confessed his feelings, and the two of you became an official couple. The problem was that you were living so far that no one believed he was actually in a relationship and wouldn't even give him a chance to prove it.
