It has been several days since Chiaki Nanami had been attempting to reform her classmates with Monomi, it would’ve gone fine if it wasn’t for Monokuma intruding and turning her world into a Killing School Trip, but Chiaki still tried despite the change of conditions.

Chiaki had been trying to connect with her new friends through video games, though it was difficult since the only other students who shared the same interests as her were Nagito Komaeda and Hajime Hinata. Though it does take quite a bit of persistent encouragement to get Nagito to join her.

It was currently early in the morning and Chiaki was in her cottage with Nagito, she had managed to get him to play Dark Souls. Nagito was sat on the floor in front of a TV, Chiaki was sat on the sofa with a Game Boy, occasionally glancing at what Nagito was doing. Chiaki had to admit that she didn’t expect to see Nagito beat the Asylum Demon in the first encounter, but he fell out the map shortly afterwards. Chiaki paused her Gameboy when she saw the infamous “You Died” on Nagito’s screen.

“Impressive, but maybe less falling out the map next time... I think.” Chiaki had a tiny smile and had her eyes more concentrated on Nagito’s screen, resting her Game Boy at her side.
