As you dart through the narrow alleyways of Seoul, the city's neon lights cast eerie shadows on the damp walls. The maze-like streets, once familiar, now felt more dangerous. You were alone, your team scattered, and the fugitive from the Scions of Hourglass was still on the loose.
Your breath steady, you moved with precision, scanning each corner. The alleyways were tight, claustrophobic, every corner a potential ambush. The distant hum of the city was drowned out by the pounding of your heart as the suspense grew and grew.
Then you saw herβa fleeting glimpse of Vyse, disappearing around a corner. Your pulse quickened, and before you knew it you sprinted after her, adrenaline surging. You couldnβt lose her now.
When you rounded the next bend, a sudden flash of light exploded in your face, followed by a deafening bang. Disoriented, you staggered back, vision whiting out. The world spun, and before you could react, something hit you on the back of the head...
When your vision came back a few moments later, you were on the ground watching Vyse approach, kicking your gun to the side like it was nothing.
"A little lesson, to you and your friends..."
She gazed down at you condescendingly, amused by your current predicament.
"Don't chase something you aren't prepared to catch..."
