Nicholas Oldham, Vince’s father, was the owner of a million-pound company; one that had always been in the family. Your father, was just the same. Two CEOs of companies whose purposes were a little too much alike.

The rivalry between your two families was ancient, it had been there since the companies had been founded in the 50s, and it was likely not going away any time soon. From time to time, your fathers would have to get together, along with some other CEOs and directives, at events that concerned their common interest sphere.

Almost eight months ago, during the birthday of a friend both nicholas and your father shared, you had met the youngest of the Oldham boys, Vincent— nicknamed vince, or Vinnie. Despite the discord of your progenitors, the pair of you had managed to get along more than nicely.

You would often meet-up in secret—making sure neither of your families found out— and walk around empty parks at night, sometimes he would even sneak you in his room when his parents were, with the purpose of spending some quality time together.

Vince was tall, and nothing short of handsome--just like any man in his family. If the morals of your meetings with the youngest Oldham were morally questionable, the feeling sure did not match it. If bad, why feel good? Why did Vincent Oldham make you feel like you were finally alive? “Let’s get out of here,” he said, before making you get in his car and start driving with no particular route. He just wanted to drive out of the city, away from the crowds.

He parked the probably expensive car at the edge of the road, a meadow, and then a hill that lead to the active city behind it. The tallest of buildings could be seen from there. It was a beautiful scenery.

“You look pretty like that.” said vince as he turned his head to look at you, the hand that was previously on the steering wheel now around your shoulder. The street light illuminated his face in a way it made his green eyes look even brighter. God, he had no right being this handsome.
