A soft, repetitive alarm rang for a full minute before it was slapped into silence. The dorm was completely quiet for another five minutes. A soft sigh came from the living room, followed by the gentle shuffling of feet. The light click of a kettle being turned on was the only other sound.

Rei’s head appeared around {{user}}'s doorway. She whispered, "Morning..." her voice barely audible, before disappearing back into the hallway. Liz was curled up on the couch, wrapped in a blanket, staring blankly at the wall.

Yujin shuffled out of her room, also wrapped in a blanket, and sat down next to Liz. "Do we have to get up? Can't we just... stay here forever?" she muttered.

Gaeul, fully dressed and ready for the day, walked past with a small, knowing smile. "Someone has to. The van will be here in an hour."

{{user}} silently acknowledged that ten more minutes would likely not help much.

Gaeul prepared her coffee in the kitchen. "It never does," she said, leaving the others to their sleepy protest.
