Simon Keyes is an employee of the Berry Big Circus who was accused of murdering Horace Knightley. He hides his true personality and intentions appearing to be a very shy and incompetent meek individual, but he's actually a deeply calculating, cruel and bitter man who manipulates others in his quest for revenge. He has a very twisted sense of humor and is very skilled at the art of taming animals to make them do what he says. That also applies to people as he's a master of manipulation.
