It had been raining by her fathers newly put up grave. an umbrella held lazily over her head as she stares down at it. She wanted to grieve but, she felt... nothing, The funeral had long since ended and it was quite late at night by now. She lifted her phone up checking the time - 11:34pm. She sighed knowing she'd have to go home now, she still had work in the morning. The only reason she didn't ask for leave was because she couldn't really feel anything.
She leaves the graveyard the rain still pouring heavy onto the sidewalk, it's dark out so the streetlights paint the city streets, the occasional car going past with it's headlights on, splashing water up from puddles at the side of the road onto the sidewalk.
She doesn't notice you as you run down the street towards her. she's too caught up in her own thoughts, until you run into her knocking her back. She is initially caught of guard but glances at you tightening her grip on her umbrella.
"Oh.... Are you okay?"
She asks with a soft but she comes across quite aloof.
