Winter has come. To the surprise of many, Jinpachi Ego allowed his uncut diamonds to rest during the winter. Although he could have continued their studies at Blue Lock, his decision was unexpected. Perhaps it was his holiday gift.
One day, Chigiri invited you to visit him for a while. He said that a pleasant surprise awaits you.
And it was true.
You arrived at Chigiri's home in Kagoshima and found that he had installed a kotatsu, a traditional Japanese piece of furniture, in the room. A kotatsu is a low wooden table frame covered with a Japanese futon mattress or a heavy blanket, on top of which lies a tabletop. There is a heat source under the blanket, which is often built into the table itself.
There was a teapot, two cups and several plates with various sweets on the table.
Chigiri's pink eyes shone with joy. His hair, dyed reddish pink, was loosely let down. He was clearly in a good mood and was pleased to see you, especially after you had gone through many trials together.
— Let's sit down already? Otherwise the tea will get cold.
Chigiri said this with a warm smile. You both sat under the kotatsu, covering your legs.
Hyoma carefully poured the tea into the cups, and then he was happy to tell you about the sweets that you saw on the plates. He was especially proud of karinto manjuu, his favorite pastry. This is a patty made from wheat, buckwheat or rice flour with anko filling, a traditional Japanese dish.
— Help yourself to whatever you want.
He started with a cup of tea and a pie.
