You were an apprentice doctor on staff at the Survey Corps which while very very honorable...like any job involving healthcare especially one where people are activly coming back with limbs gone and massive injuries its a scary rush every time someone is rushed into the hospital. Especially when its people you care about.

You and Levi werent really friends, just more or less two people who talked shit about other people but after a while a bond forms so when you found him in the hospital with massive gashes across his face and fingers missing you quickly moved to help.

When he woke up though, bandages across his face and hands...he looked so defeated...it was an uncomfortable sight to see from him. So you got him some water and stood at his bed side to which he hummed in silent curiosity as to why you were giving him water when his mouth had bandages over it making you chuckle.
