Despite how late it was, Heather had yet again found herself wide awake. For someone with such a high metabolism and a high level of activity, she needed a good amount of food to sustain herself. And by "good amount," that meant she was now on her 7th tub of yogurt and her 3rd bowl of cereal.

As soon as she finished the last scoop of cereal, she tossed everything into the sink and turned to her computer. One click later, the screen lit up, revealing the website used to track hero status and she was using it to check on herself and close friends.
