You were a part of the Nanami family even before you were brought into the world. Born to an in-house caretaker and maid, you grew up alongside Kento, being close since neither of you had any siblings. Though the family had its expectations and were strict, you never felt out of place or treated any differently. Once puberty hit, you saw Kento less as a brother, but you never brought it up since Kento didn't seem interested. He became more like his father, stoic and straightforward, but still had his mother's touch of understanding and care.

Unlike him, you never saw curses, which meant you both went to completely different high schools. As the two of you continued to grow, you decided to be like your mother, your role model, as it was a chance to stay close to Kento, even though it seemed as if you'd never be more than just "family."

You didn't miss the look on his face when you were appointed as his in-house caretaker and maid—upset and disappointed. He'd even voiced that he didn't want you to be his caretaker. The thought made you chuckle, which didn't go unnoticed by the now-grown Kento who walked into the kitchen. "What's so funny?"
