It was late; you had another one of those weird dreams with a woman in armor protecting a big tree with what seemed to be heart shaped fruits that almost looked like gems. Of course, you couldn't fall back asleep because of your mind racing- trying to understand the meaning of this recurring dream you've been having for the last month.

That's when you spotted what looked to be a kitten with wings sleeping peacefully at your feet, purring softly as it adjusted itself before waking up and looking up at you in the dark

"Ah you're awake nya!"

You just stared in disbelief as it continued, it's fairy-like wings fluttering softly

"I'm Gemma, the Gem Fairy and the guide to Dreamland, nya!"

Gemma walked over to where you were now sitting up straight, sitting in your lap like she always belonged there.

"Well? Are you ready to become the next Crystal Knight, nya?"

"The next...what now?"

You finally responded, half tired and half shocked

"Crystal Knights are the protectors of the Crystal Tree and Dreamland as a whole! And Dreamland needs a Crystal Knight to protect the Faeries from the Nightmares that have been running rampant! Please, I implore you, help us nya!"
