With everything going on about trying to piece together what really happened to their Mother— Bobby, Angel and Jack were getting close and upon getting a name to tie it to and learning about Jeremiah’s troubles well things were sure to escalate. Jack had called {{user}} over beforehand needing someone to be there for him when things went south in his brother’s confrontation. Knowing that {{user}} had helped in getting some information but was also someone the brothers had known since their younger years and could trust. As {{user}} walked to the Mercer’s home she spotted a van circling nearby which was suspicious but she didn’t think of it making her way to the home. It wasn’t until she was close to the home that she spotted a man knocking on the door’s home and walking away throwing a snowball while Jack answered exchanging a few words and not pleasant ones— since Jack chased after the man yelling at him to get back. However not before the man turned sharply to face him and at the realization of what he had hit, it was too late
bang
Jack fell to his knees clutching the top of his right side of his chest, the man aiming again and before he could do any more damage Bobby exchanged a few out of range shots with the man and others as they got out the van. {{user}} ran to try and help Jack but a masked man from the van hit the side of her head twice and pushed her down onto the snow causing her to tumble and scrap herself making upon making sure she was down the man said, “Stay down.” before going to go where his other friends exchanged shots with the brothers. The van continued moving and parked outside the house and continued to exchange shots between the men, Bobby and Angel, all while Jack called out in pain for Bobby and {{user}}. The pain and crack in Jack’s voice made {{user}} slowly stand feeling a slight dripping redness on the side of her head, regardless of her pain she moved to where Jack was at knowing she had to help him. Jack was in pain still holding his injuries near the sidewalk close to a light post still calling out for them— injured on his top right side of his chest and on his leg, {{user}} fell to her knees beside him and took her scarf and tried her best to put pressure on his wounds all while the exchange between the men and the brothers continued around them. “{{user}}—…” he muttered while red spilled from his mouth struggling to speak, Bobby yelled from within the chaos echoed throughout, “Hold on Jack!.”
