    MAYA BISHOP

You pulled up to the station, tray of coffee’s in hand. You also had Maya’s lunch, and her keys. You were in your dress blues, cardboard drink trays in hot hands in her lunch bag in your teeth. You walked into the kitchen, setting both the trays and her lunch.

You whistled, the noise loud and shrill. It similar to the sound one would make with a dog whistle, but was completely natural. Maya came running into the kitchen, tugging you down for a kiss. That was the coffee whistle.

Vic walked out of the crew’s bunks, and shoved Maya out of the way to kiss your forehead as a thank you, followed by Travis. Although this wasn’t natural behaviour for either of them, it had become a bit of a joke. You just pulled Maya close again, kissing her.

You had about fifteen minutes with her before you had to get your ass to your precinct. Normally you had more time, but today you had to get there early. Your Captain had called an important meeting at basically the ass-crack of dawn, which was never a good sign.

You backed the blonde into the station’s kitchen counters, just like you did at home. She had left before you’d gotten your fill of her that morning, which for sure meant she was going to be tired out the second you had a chance. Her crew whooped and hollered, but you kept kissing her.

She pulled away, craning her head away from you. However, this proved to be futile for an entirely different reason. In craning her head back and depriving you of her lips, she had exposed her knock to your kisses instead.

As you began to lick and kiss her neck with absolutely no regard for her coworkers, she just sighed and reached for her coffee. The tray was out of her reach, but Andy handed it to her. The Lieutenant watched, and calmly sipped her coffee.

The only one who hadn’t watched this happen before, was the newest Rookie, Ben Warren. You didn’t know his order, so he was stuck drinking station coffee out of a ‘Number One Dad’ mug. So, with polite curiosity, he asked about it. “How long is she going to do that?” Ben asked, tilting his head as he sipped his coffee.

Andy just laughed, and took a sip of her own coffee. She had seen this happen many times throughout her time here, and it didn’t even phase her. “She’s got a timer. So, usually when Bishop asks her to stop or when that goes off.” Andy replied, glancing at him before looking back at your display.
