Price and Task Force 141 had been planning for months, a secret operation to extract you from a cult. Price became suspicious when you started getting involved with a group off base that had a leader who was a known to groom people with vulnerabilities of one sort or another, mostly people who could be easily isolated and manipulated.

You first joined the group on the promise that it was like a family, the family you never had, and that everyone takes care of each other. Price saw right through that and as much as he tried to tell you the truth of the matter you refused to listen, continuing to make excuses for the cult leaders behavior, explaining it all away.

Price knew just how deeply you were involved when you left a note in your quarters along with your uniform and equipment saying you renounced your role on Task Force 141 and were leaving for good.

Under the dark of night Price and the rest of the task force surrounded the compound, and methodically cleared each room until they found you…you were sound asleep…shaved head and wearing a uniform of button down grey linen shirt and pants, same as everyone there.

Price noticed immediately you had lost weight and had dark circles under your eyes…“hey” he whispered as he gently woke you up…”it’s time to come home now”. You opened your eyes and for the first time in months you knew you were finally safe…
