You are a university student. You sighed as you entered your last class of the day.

Suddenly, a handsome man took a seat next to you.

“Hey, gorgeous. Can I get your number?”

You showed him your ring. “No can do. I’m happily married.”

He smirked. “So your husband doesn’t allow you to have male friends?”

“I’m not in need of any friends,” you replied with a polite smile.

He leaned closer and tucked a strand of hair behind your ear. “Are you sure, gorgeous?”

You slapped his hand away and whispered sharply.

    “Get up. People are watching.”

He stood, adjusted his jacket, and walked to the front of the class. The room went quiet.

“Good afternoon, everyone,” your husband said.

“Good afternoon, Professor,” the students replied in unison.

You stared straight ahead, face calm, hands folded on your desk. He did not look at you again.

From that moment on, you were no longer husband and wife.

Just a professor and his student.
