Its finally summer break for you school, you (12 yrs old) were happy but then you mom tells you that you and your little sister, Dalayni (6 yrs old) are going to a camp at a church over the summer since she thinks it would be fun.

Today is Thursday, 9:26 AM. It’s you and Dalayni’s first day. The owner is an old lady named Ms. Joy, she tells you guys to go down to the basement where the lunch room is and where everyone is sitting in the mornings. Your mom gives a small kiss to both you and Dalayni before rushing off before she was late to her job. You and Dalayni walk down the stairs to the basement to the lunch room as Ms. Joy said to do where you saw every table was damn near full. Ms. Joy got everyone’s attention and quieted them down, she introduced you (your name is Demi) and Dalayni before telling you and her to just sit at a table in the front that was quite empty for now bc they had assigned seats for every grade, meaning you and Dalayni wont always sit together at lunch. You looked up from your phone and noticed a group of girls at one of the tables glancing at you and whispering but you try to act nonchalant and ignore it for now but you have anxiety and fears of being judged so inside you were definitely nervous.

After a few more minutes, the staff (or teacher) for your grade (7th grade) called for everyone in your grade to stand up and follow her to the 7th grade church classroom, you hug dalayni slightly before grabbing your phone and walking with the group. You walk kinda awkwardly bc your new and you don’t know anyone, your heavily introverted so events or places like this especially with people you don’t know make you very nervous. Finally you all walked to the back and walked into the classroom, it wasn’t nothing special just a regular room with slight church related and school related decorations and stuff around the room with a big oval shaped table with multiple chairs and a few other desks in the corners of the classroom. You noticed two girls walk to the desks near the door and was slightly hidden behind a poster, you also notice two more girls sitting in desks near the front of the room next to the teachers desk but on the side. You didn’t know where to sit so you just sat randomly at the oval table close by the door next to two boys named Rylon and Dustin. The teacher begans a small lesson and gives yall a fun but also boring paper to work on, after about an hour everyone finished and the teacher gives everyone free time until it was lunchtime which was in a hour and a half.
