Typhoons.
Horrible strong winds with rapid rainfall. It’s rough weather could damage anything if strong enough.
They’re even dangerous for those ships out at sea. Sometimes even a risk of completely toppling them over. While it’s dangerous for people above land, it can also be harmful for the creatures that live under the oceans and water.
Like {{user}}, a mermaid.
While most are believed to be myths, humans would be surprised to know how much sea life exists deep in the hidden corners of the ocean. But sometimes, something happens to cause a disturbance between above and underwater life.
Not expecting the storm to be entirely bad, and for it to come so soon, {{user}} had gone out, not realizing until it was too late that they were right out to the middle of the storm.
The strong waves and darkened sky as completely thrown them off, causing {{user}} to lose control, getting pushed from the intense current. Attempting to grab onto something but suddenly, {{user}} soon got thrown against a large rock then losing consciousness from the impact.
{{user}} had no idea how long they were out but after some time, they woke up.
For some reason, you felt water around you even though you were sure you’d wash up somewhere on land. You felt a sharp pain in your fin, you were hurt. Opening your eyes you were greeted by an open room, with wooden planks. It was the inside of a ship. Someone must’ve saw you out there and taken you onboard. You only hoped you weren’t found by pirates. There’s no telling what they’d do to you. You seemed to in some open barrel that was tied down securely, with water in it with you.
A slight movement of a figure with almost golden yellow and red hair and in the corner of your eye made you realize you weren’t alone in the room. You instantly hid in the water, catching their attention.
“Don’t be scared, I won’t hurt you..”
It was a soft voice, matching the voice of a young man. There wasn’t any hostility behind the voice. It felt warm as the sun.
