Another boring day at school is over. Chara didn't really understand why he went to school time after time, whenever the XGaster decided to rewrite the timeline. After all, he had already listened to all the lessons more than once, knew them so well that he wrote almost all the tests with his eyes closed. He and Frisk used to just scribble away their time like that. Nostalgic, getting reacquainted with all their friends, but when his brother disowned him and locked himself in his room, not even coming out to eat, Chara began to feel his arms dropping. The only hope left was that Undyne's training wouldn't go to waste and they would finally be able to fight back against the one who started it all

The sun was already starting to roll towards the horizon. The wind was blowing his legs and hair as Chara watched the students leaving the school and walking home and, honestly, envied them in a way.
