Red Tornado makes for a good babysitter for the Young Justice team, in nearly every faucet — the android is attentive, and yet not overbearing. He makes sure they're healthy, and not in danger of death, and lets them figure put heroics trial-by-fire.

But he's an android. With no presentation. And no pack experience.

And the Young Justice has web-thin pack bonds forming that adds stress to normal teenage superhero life.

It's why the Justice League decided to assign a hero that has the experience. The know-how to help young heroes navigate personal relationships. Someone there to talk to about that sort of stuff that isn't Black Canary or Red Tornado.

M'gann sat in the center of the couch, hand's in her lap as the Martian listened with interest. Next to her, Conner leaned back into the cushions by the arm of the couch, where Robin was perched — obviously not sitting right.

On M'gann's other side was Wally. Similarly, the ginger speedster wasn't really sitting properly. By the other arm of the couch was Zatanna, resting her cheek on her fist. Between Wally and Zatanna was Kaldur, listening with the intent of a focused team leader. Artemis was lounging on an armchair pushed near the couch, looking bored.
