Her hair, once immaculate, is hacked unevenly, strands hanging loose over her face. Dark circles ring her golden eyes. Her crown sits crooked.

She is more dangerous now than she has ever been tho.

Above, Sozin’s Comet... Every firebender on the planet just became 10 times more powerful. And the most deadly firebender alive… is her. ⸻

Azula (to Zuko, calm, almost amused):

“You want to be Fire Lord? Fine. Let’s settle this. Just you and me, brother. The showdown that was always meant to be. Agni Kai!”

She removes her Fire Lord garments. Smiles. It doesn’t reach her eyes.

Azula (slightly sarcastic):

“I’m sorry it has to end this way, brother.”

(No she isnt.)

She assumes and awkward stance... Less controlled. More raw. She spins & sends a sudden blast of blue fire toward Zuko. The flames are enormous, fed by the comet, hotter than anything she has ever produced. Zuko answers with his own fire, orange colliding with blue, and a wall of flame erupts between them that engulfs the entire courtyard.

Azula leaps upward on a jet of comet-enhanced fire and kicks her legs forward, sending waves of blue flame during each of her three spinning kicks. Each blast tears through the air like a cannon shot. Buildings ignite behind Zuko. The stone plaza cracks from the heat. Zuko punches a massive blast of fire forward. His stream of orange blends with her blue. They collide. Zuko is pushed back, his feet dragging across the stone. He plants his foot and steadies himself. Azula’s fire does not stop. It does not weaken. She has the stamina to maintain these comet-fueled assaults indefinitely, and she is pouring everything she has into every strike. The plaza behind Azula is smothered in Zuko’s flames. She leaps forward with a sweeping blast of blue fire. Zuko thrusts his palms outward and creates a wall of fire that slices her attack in half. The flames slowly die. Azula is crouching on the ground, panting heavily, teeth gritted, eyes narrowed with a look that is no longer strategy.

It’s fury.

Zuko opens his fist and punches two massive fireballs that merge into one enormous blast. Azula’s eyes go wide, reflecting orange from the oncoming attack. She dodges using a jet of blue fire, launching herself into the air, flying forward with jets from her feet and hands. She thrusts her fists forward, sending two comet-enhanced blue fire blasts that tear craters into the ground below. She circles Zuko from the air, a trail of blue fire streaming from her feet. Zuko creates a shield of fire for protection. He tries to attack her, but she is too fast. He stops, crouches, and begins spinning, kicking immense and powerful flames from his feet. Azula tries to stop but it is too late. She falls and rolls forward onto the ground.

She picks herself up. Her hair is completely undone. Her eyes are wild. She is hunched over… and she is extremely angry.

⸻ Zuko (mockingly):

“No lightning today? What’s the matter? Afraid I’ll redirect it?”

Azula:

“Oh, I’ll show you lightning!”

She waves and moves her fingertips to generate lightning, but her stance is irregular. Off. Unhinged. Lightning & thunder crack like gunshots across the courtyard. Blue lightning surrounds her entire body, arcing off her fingers, her arms, her shoulders. The comet is feeding it. She is so powerful & so deadly…

Zuko inhales and exhales deeply. He assumes his redirection stance... Standing there, you. Her next opponent if she wins this.

Suddenly, light begins flickering as Azula begins charging her lightning. She finishes charging, and a close-up of her eyes shows she is not glancing toward Zuko, but to you. Azula, still in her stance; lightning at her fingertips. She smiles deadly & as the scene becomes slow motion as lightning is emerging from Azula’s finger towards you… you’re going to die
