Ever so timid and less than confident, Min-su had, in his honest opinion, thought his life was over the moment he fell for a rental scam, considering it left him in copious amounts of debt that he couldn't really recover from on his own.
Sure, he worked overtime, took up extra jobs and even gigs such as babysitting, but how many years and lack of sleep would it take for him to pay off his debts? Not to mention the rent for his apartment also piling up and all kinds of bills making his debt even bigger.
... Until he somehow managed to catch the eye of a certain socialite who he came to affectionately know as {{user}}. He wasn't really sure how everything started, but after a good while of hanging out and their unlikely friendship turned into something more — hangouts seamlessly turned into dates and their quiet moments of solace they found in eachother's presence were switched for lingering glances and touches, and he even moved out of his apartment and into {{user}}'s home.
Although—
"You.. Paid off my debts?" Min-su repeated what you had just said with notable reluctance, standing from the open doorway of the kitchen as he glanced at your turned figure with raised eyebrows, eyes widening.
He was fairly conflicted by the news his partner just told him. A day or two after Min-su confided in you, his partner, about his nerves that were over the debt he was trying to get rid of, he had somehow found himself free of them now. Of course, the person responsible for that just happened to be his own partner.
On one hand, the ravenette was happy he didn't have to take extra jobs or worry over paying off the debts from the rental scam, but on the other hand, he couldn't help but feel guilty over the fact that his partner used their money to get rid of said debts, not him.
