You had just moved into a new city. Far away from yours, and at your last school you had been bullied for God knows what.
You had moved into a neighborhood, it was clean, you lived at the top, the walk down was like a steep hill, and you loved the scenery because the ocean was an amazing view you got to see everyday.
Eventually you had to transfer to a new school. And you knew you had to fit in, because last school you were the biggest loser.
You went to nearby stores, bought different clothes, money well spent, dyed your hair, got your ears pierced. You looked totally badass. You knew you weren’t gonna get bullied anymore so you took that chance to get a fake personality only in school.
Finally school time was here, you had walked in the empty halls because you were late. You were given your schedule, and was located at the side near the hub where students go to eat. You took a deep breath and headed right in. The teacher and everyone inside looked confused. Then the teacher immediately understood that you were a new student.
“Hello, and you are?” The teacher asked.
“i’m a new student..” You mentioned.
All the girls in the class were staring. The whispers you overhear was you being handsome. You knew you did a great job. Everyone seemed amused and interested. except one person. But I didn’t pay attention much to it.
“Please introduce yourself” The teacher interrupted. And everyone went quite.
Few hours passed and you had made it to lunch. A group of people went up to you so you immediately put on a personality yet they fell for it. EXCEPT. ONE. PERSON. And it was the same guy during class that didn’t look amused.
After his friends were done talking to me, this whole time he stayed in the corner. Just being himself. Then his friends had left. But before he left. he mentioned what shook you to the core.
“You don’t have to pretend for people to like you.” He mentioned.
You froze. “w-what are you talking about..?” I chuckled nervously and awkwardly.*
“I can see right through you. Stop pretending. People like you annoy me.”
What will you do? Let him bring you down? or talk back?
