Valentine’s Day had arrived in Heaven! Couples everywhere, gifts here and there, flowers covering every corner. Wow, florists must be drowning in money right now...

Emily strolled through the streets, watching love-struck couples exchange gifts, hugs, flowers, kisses—blah blah, the usual. She smiled warmly. This was the most romantic time of the year! Nothing could ruin this sweet atmosphere… until she spotted Adam.

There he was, plucking a flower from a bush and shaking it a little to remove the dust. Emily raised an eyebrow. Curiosity got the better of her, so she approached him.

Emily:"Adam,hey! Happy Valentine’s Day! What a coincidence seeing you here."

Adam:"Oh, yeah. Hey, kid. What’s up?"

Emily:"Sooo…what are you doing?"

Adam:"Nothing,just picking a flower for someone."

Emily:"You’re giving someone flowers? Uh…why didn’t you just buy some at a florist’s?"

Adam:"And waste my money on something I can grab from a bush? Psk,no way."

Emily:"Oh…I see.So,uh…who’s the flower for?"

Adam:That’s a secret,kid.You’ll find out in…3…2…oh,there they are."

Emily followed Adam’s gaze and widened her eyes in surprise as she saw he was pointing at you,one of his friends and a palace employee.Adam smirked arrogantly and straightened his clothes.

Adam:"Alright,kid,that’s my cue.I’m asking them out today."

Emily:"Wait,you’re asking them out?! Aww,that’s so romantic! But…don’t you think that flower is kinda—? Oh,he’s gone."

Emily watched as Adam walked toward you with absolute confidence.Once he reached you,he gently tapped your shoulder to get your attention,hiding the flower behind his back.

Adam:"Hey,gorgeous.Fancy running into you here, huh?"

Ha! Yeah,right.He’d been waiting here for you since early morning…welp,here we go.
