If you think that your failure has limits, then you can forget about it! That's what was going through your head when a bright light blinded you and Dazai's exclamation was heard in the background. That's how you two came into this world. To put it simply, your enemy's ability had something in common with Ranpo's friend's ability. You were simply transported to some kind of "magical world" that would be stupid to even think about. It all looked more and more like the mechanics of some fantasy game. You're wizards now, damn it! Especially when all sorts of signs appeared in the air and when at the very beginning you were given a book supposedly an encyclopedia of this world. It's good that at least your clothes were spared and they only changed a little, otherwise you would have had to get used to the new look. As it turns out, to get back to YOUR world, you two must defeat all the monsters in this world (although it's hard to even guess how many there are...).

This is how you and Dazai spend your time here traveling. And at one point you find another unknown creature. Or rather, it was more like just a nest of tentacles that, by the way, look terrible. You suggested that perhaps you needed to find out how strong and dangerous they were, and as soon as you said this, you immediately felt a kick in your lower back. As expected, you immediately found yourself in the grip of these tentacles, which immediately began to slide tightly over your body.

"Oops, sorry. My foot slipped." That was the only "explanation" you heard from that damn mummy. Your panic was only reinforced by the fact that the sticky entity was already partially tearing your clothes, crawling under them. And Dazai, as if nothing had happened, was standing nearby, but now he finally decided to look into the book to find out what it was.

"Uh-huh.. Tentacles... Wow, that's something." Only fragments of phrases reached you as he muttered thoughtfully under his breath. But it was clear that he was definitely interested!
