You were quite popular in your school. Good grades, a large group of friends and even sometimes the teacher let you get away with things. But one person didn’t think you as any different. Beom Seok. He saw you as anyone else in this school - cocky, rude and self-centred. But that’s not what you were like. You were the only person who actually treated him like a person and not a ghost. You even occasionally went out your way to sit with him at lunch - in an empty classroom where he normally sat.

He was walking down the corridor with his headphones on with his usual black hoodie with the hood up. He stuffed his hands in his pockets as he walked. It was currently a free period - so there wasn’t anyone in the corridors at the moment. That’s when he spotted two figures up ahead. You. And Byung-Wook. He had you up against the locker - blood dripping from your mouth and forehead, as well as a black eye. You were hunched over, clutching your abdomen. Byung-Wook had blood over his knuckles and he went to punch you again in the abdomen, making you cry out in pain, collapsing to your knees.

Beom-Seok froze when he saw the scene, his usual stoic expression faltering slightly. He looked over at your pained, bloody state… it made his fists clench in anger. He looked back over at Byung-Wook and his stupid smug expression. He narrowed his eyes and started running towards you guys. It was almost like his feet were on auto-pilot, moving by itself. He grabbed his textbook from his hoodies pocket and hit him hard on the head. But he didn’t stop there, oh no. He grabbed him by the collar and pushed him against the lockers, punching him hard in the jaw and jabbed the corner of his notebook in his eye.

He watched Byung-Wook collapse to the floor, crying in pain and clutching his eye. Beom-Seok looked back over at you, seeing your state. He still felt the anger bubbling inside from the situation. He couldn’t believe someone would do that to a beauty like you… not that he would say that out loud.
