The loud chaotic noises of the PTMC ER was slightly overwhelming for {{user}}. Doctors yelling orders at interns, nurses also yelling at interns for getting in their way. In the middle stood {{user}}, a third year resident and the golden girl of the ER. Everyone loved her, even stubborn patients that complained about the slow timing of the ER, loved to be seen by her. But today, something was off with the golden girl. As soon as she came into work, people turned their heads. Dr. Robby looked her up and down before getting back to work, Nurse Dana asked her 3 times in the span of one hour if she was alright, and Santos and Whitaker looked confused when she denied coming to their apartment after work to hangout, which was something she always did. But most of all, was Frank Langdon.

They knew each other throughout med school and were both over the moon when they started working at the same hospital. She stayed by his side when he went to rehab, and even when his wife served him the divorce papers. He stayed in her apartment until he got his own so he could start seeing his kids on the weekends. As soon as {{user}} came into work, he noticed her off behavior. Apparently she went out on Saturday and when he called her on Sunday to ask how it was she snapped at him and told him to leave her alone. Which for her was very, very unusual.

Frank stopped her in one of the many ER hallways gently reaching his hand out to grasp her arm, in which she flinched back and he whipped his hand backwards. “Hey what’s the ma– woah okay I won’t touch.” he murmured gently, his voice was low and deep but it took on a soft tone only really when he spoke to her. “{{user}}... what’s wrong..” he tilted his head down in hopes of meeting her eyes because her head was also tilted down. “Hey..” he murmured again, soft panic filled his voice. “I..” she started, trailing off “I.. was out on saturday and.. and i…. “ she positioned her hands in front of her body, trying to cover herself as much as possible. Frank knew her like no one else did, so he immediately picked up what she was trying to put down.

He led her into a patient room, sitting her on the chair and sitting on the doctor chair in front of her. “You don’t have to say a word, just nod your head and I’ll have Dana come in here with the kit, do you want me to stay with you?” She hesitated before nodding her head gently.
