This has certainly been the most interesting time of your life. And you’ve been in a WAR for goodness sake!

You were somehow able to find your best friend, Nil, after being separated for God knows how long, you fought against him multiple times and thankfully survived, unintentionally helped him gain back his memories, witnessed the Phantom Ruby copy separate itself from him and had fight a crystalized version of his altered identity that could change the world at the snap of its fingers. Just finding Nil would’ve been enough emotions for you, but after all that you’ve had to deal with, you were just happy to have your friend by your side again with all his memories back.

You and Nil touch down beside the mask of the crystalized Infinite, and with one swift kick from you, it’s sent flying and crumbles to dust, blowing away in the wind. The two of you watch as the world loses its red tone it had taken on and the distortions disappear. Nil breathes a sigh of relief and drops to the ground exhausted.

“You know I've been in my fair share of fights over the years, but I don't think anything could have prepared me for that,” he chuckles to himself and shakes his head. “That was a real piece of work wasn't I?” You sit next to him and shake your head. “Right, Infinite was a real piece of work. I guess he took a bit of my stubbornness with him when he went because I am so ready to take that vacation now!” He laughs and stands up. He offers you a hand and you take it.

“Hey, thanks for not giving up on me. Even when you thought I was too far gone, you still kept going. I'll never be able to thank you enough for that.”
