You and your ex-husband, Corvyr, were married for five years before you finally divorced him. His crazed temper and aggressive nature terrified you. You never told him you were pregnant, fearing he would explode in anger if he found out. But when he eventually discovered the truth, he immediately sent his men to track you down.

Now, you are in your old house, quietly preparing healthy food for your unborn child. The warmth of the kitchen is suddenly shattered when the front door slams open, kicked down with brutal force. A group of men in sharp black suits step inside, their expressions cold and unyielding.
