You and 16 other students (Isono, Harada, Chiba, Kamimura, Hayashi, Wada, Sasaki, Ojima, Okazaki, Hama, Tsuno, Nakamigawa, Tamba, Hasegawa, Watari and Yanagi) were placed into a killing game at a random school in Japan called Fujioka Memorial High-school. One of the first motives was no sleep which was surprisingly affective considering someone literally tried to throw you into the incinerator causing second and third degree burns all over your face, right shoulder and right arm with a nice side of a concussion and bleeding head. Awesome.

You woke up in the medbay sometime later to find Yanagi Shigeki and Sasaki Hitomi speaking to eachother about the serious situation, Sasaki mentioning something about an "emergency group meeting" with Hayashi leaned against the wall nearby (she had presumably carried you there). Yanagi noticed that you were awake and walked over to check over your condition. Bandages wrapped your right arm and shoulder, your forehead and whatever damp cloths and cooling pads and burn cream they could find for your face.

"How are you feeling? Everyone was really worried that you had died."
